# Titan Earns First Perfect Score!

🏆 **The Zooz ZAC36 Titan Valve Actuator just earned the first perfect score ever awarded on Smart Home Perfected’s testing bench: 25/25.**

Their independent review tested the Titan and ZSE42 across local operation, internet outages, direct Z-Wave association, security, and hub independence.

A few highlights:

• The ZSE42 closed the Titan in under one second, three times out of three.  
• Direct association still closed the valve with the hub completely unplugged.  
• Home Assistant with Z-Wave JS confirmed S2 Authenticated inclusion.  
• Core leak protection continued to work without cloud access.

We also really appreciated the review process. When we questioned whether a couple of initial deductions were device limitations or Homey-specific behavior, Smart Home Perfected performed additional testing rather than simply taking our word for it, then updated the scoring based on the results.

That makes the 25/25 especially meaningful.

Congrats. It’s a very good product. I have it on a 20 year old 1" full port ball valve. Titan has plenty of torque to move that older valve.
