Hi, I’m new to Home Automation. I have a Raspberry Pi 4 which I intend using with Home Assistant and my question is which is better as a network resource - the ZST39 USB stick or the ZAC93 GPIO Module? Thanks AliGD ---

Hi @AliGD, the ZST39 can be on an extension usb, so there is better flexibility if it needs to be moved for better signal. The ZAC93 is installed in the pinout. Both units have the same SDK, so there is no difference there. Is that tubeszb product a self contained PoE box that allows the Z-wave controller to be installed anywhere? Or even a secondary controller to be installed setup in Home Assistant, to connect a secondary building? It looks like the listing is out of stock. You guys should just make an official PoE network based Z-wave controller and sell it in thesmartesthouse Store or on Amazon. ---

Sorry for the late reply here but we checked at the source to make sure we describe the tubeszb product accurately. Here’s what they said: “The device is a standalone controller and can connect to HA/Z-Wave JS directly over the users home network (Ethernet) so if they have Ethernet to the secondary building it can connect back and work with the existing HA setup. It is possible to add multiple zwave instances to HA. But beyond the one set up through HA a second zwave-js instance is needed.” Hope that helps answer the questions!
