I have some 433Mhz sensors I use to monitor temperature in my HVAC system. I’d like to move to zwave devices. The devices I’m using have the actual sensor connected by wire to the 433Mhz device. Is there a similar solution here?
What are the make/model of the existing sensors? The Fibaro Smart Implant could be a candidate. It is:
- compatible with two binary and a number of 0-10 V sensors,
- has a built-in temperature sensor, and
- directly supports up to 6 digital Dallas DS18B20 temperature sensors or one DHT-22 temperature and humidity sensor.
It is my understanding the Smart Implant is compatible with the Z-Box Hub, as well as a number of other Z-Wave hubs.
Hard to find one of these anywhere. Do you know of a source?
One source I’m aware of is Amazon (US, also on the UK & German sites), it looks like you can find distributors by country on Fibaro’s website, or–believe it or not(!)–even Walmart claims to have it in stock! Vesternet in the UK sells it at and advertises worldwide shipping.
A Google search–where I got these options–turns up lots of references…
As a side note, it seems to be sold out at The Smartest House, but perhaps @Sara or someone else in support might know if this product is discontinued at that outlet?
Amazon shows it out of stock. Ordered it from Walmart
The price went up over $10 since I bought one 2 months ago!
Seems less vendors have them and most are Sold Out.
Did Fibaro stop producing them?
Is what’s available out there the last of stock??
