We’re doing this, so we can just tell Alexa it’s shower time and both the lights and fan come on.

However, we’ve also got a couple more of these wired up to our desks to control power to speakers and VR stuff in my office and my son’s room. So it’s easy to kill power to them and easy to just tell Alexa to turn on the speakers or VR. Keeps these things from drawing power all the time, and only a single switch was needed.
