This is a button right?

Am I remembering, or is the star with lines in the top right corner not a button? I thought that was how you edited the favorites across the top?

See this screenshot:

We’ve tried on several devices now, and it’s basically impossible to press that. So either that’s not what I’m supposed to press, or it’s way to close to the status bar.

Yes–kinda what is usually called the Hamburger Menu? On the iOS app, it brings up Edit Favorites, which lets you configure that screen…

It looks to me as if you have the screen scrolled up to just hide SCENES title (assuming that’s what Lights Off After Alarm, & Reset Cameras are)?

Yeah this menu (was trying to use pictures I already had uploaded):

That button is basically impossible to press. All we do here at my house on every device lately is select the status bar. So we can’t edit this bar.

The closest work around we can do is restore a backup that was already customized, which means the device needs to be rooted (many of our devices are), but again no further changes can be made.

Yeah. I’ve a couple of apps with buttons that just won’t work. Kind of like they’re tucked so far into the corner or edge of the screen that the touchscreen just doesn’t work there. (We have solar on our roof and that app gives me fits for that very reason!)

Have you tried tapping near–but not dead on-- the button? Sometimes my solar app works better that way. Wonder if there’s another way to access those settings?

And btw, why not use the newest app?

Interesting you should mention that, @Brors94 – I’ve been evaluating it on Z-Box for the last 6 weeks or so and really like it.

It clearly has a more “modern” interface, uncluttered look, and seems to handle display of QuickApps better, IMHO. There are some issues, however, around adding devices–I’ve only done it once and therefore don’t have a very thorough picture of adding devices–just that 800LR and QR codes aren’t supported, I think? (It asks if the device is a) Nice, b) Fibaro, or c) Other, so at minimum, it needs to handle Zooz devices right out-of-the-box for this market. ‘Scenes’ don’t seem to exist–everything is labeled as a ‘Scenerio’–but that’s just a naming convention. And the usual over-use of Gates & Garden, both of which aren’t commonly used in the same manner over here!

And the usual issues around localization–it uses British English only (doesn’t know US English), and so on. But, oddly, it handles Fahrenheit smoothly!

Definitely worth a look, for anyone who’s interested…

The “Other” should work with zooz devices
And it is the app that is getting updates, the old only get security updates.

And scenarios is a way of creating scenes from the phone. But cant be edited on the web view.
(So now we have block and lua scenes and scenarios)
