The stickers on my ZSE 11 Q Senor700 and 800 are illegible so I cant use the smart scan. I am using Home Assistant System. . When it does find the DSK by area scan It still wants a piin. I will also admit I mixed the covers and sensor up (self inflicted wound ). Is there some way to add he sensor without security ?
I was tols to use 00000 as the piin and the unit is added with out security I know that Is not good. but no use is worse

The tag on the ZSE11 is really small, especially for my old eyes. I can only imagine if it wears off!
Believe it or not, I’ve gotten in the habit of recording a pic of all my DSK codes and file them away on my NAS. It started because if I ever had to re-add a switch I could be lazy and not take the switch plate cover off. 
Also have a word doc with all the parameters that are set for every device. I did have to wipe and rebuild my z-wave network before… it was not fun so I went documentation crazy. I am thinking about building an automated documentation system for z-wave, but I’m not there yet.
Anyway, here’s a quick video on how to add to HA (JS UI) with no security. (I think you said you were in HA?)

Thanks I do have home assitant.. keeping that running is almost a full time job.. I was also to by zooz that when prompted for a PIIN I can use 00000. I imagine I have no security. but I some one want to take over my motion sensor. more power to them (I can’t read tha labels. and will follow your lead I picture of future units.

Really good idea, @darren.stp 
My spreadsheet of devices & version numbers has been helpful for much of the same reason. Your idea of adding the DSK codes is excellent. I suppose a document with images of the QR codes could also be useful in a similar way. Food for thought…
