Honeywell TH8320ZW on Z-Box Hub

I’m new here and was trying to figure something out before possibly making a mess of things and having to spend frustrated hours on it. I have 2 Honeywell TH8320ZW Thermostats that are Z-wave. I have them under my Vivint Alarm system and they’ve been working fine for a a couple of years allowing me to set schedules and even configure them to auto switch between heat and cool as the temperatures change. However, I’m trying to migrate anything that isn’t related to actual home security off of Vivint and onto the Z-Box I purchased a few years ago.

Before I go and contact Vivint to get the installer code activated for a few hours (that chat is annoying and takes like 20+ minutes) and remove one of the thermostats and try to add it to the Z-Box system I wanted to see if anyone has tried it already and can report on how it went.

I have a TH6320ZW thermostat and it was easily included to the Zbox. But if you want any functionality you will have to create scenes in Lua. You can only create a block scene to turn on or off at fixed setpoint. It does not allow for the adjustment of the set point without modifing the block scene. I have found no way to reference the the setpoint with the current temperature to make a decision to turn something off or on with a block scene. Attached is a screen shot of the Lua code I used. The trigger is an interval timer set to run every 5 minutes.
