Matter/Thread Border Routers that pair with Zbox

I was looking at the Aquara M100 as a way to add Thread/Matter/limited Zigbee to my existing Z-Box based system and was curious if anyone else had gone that route, or had used other hubs in coordination with Zbox?

I know Home Assistant is out there with an integration, but maybe I’m a rebel, or dumb, or adventuresome and hate free time, and just curious what else might be out there to pair thread/matter with zbox.

Any hub that has an open api could possibly be the bridge
But the easiest way now I am 100% sure is HA, Since it already got an easy integration.
HA green and a zbt-2 is a fine choice if you ask me  But think you need 2 of them if you want both zigbee and thread

Honestly, I don’t have a current use case for zigbee, it just would be a capability gain with the M100. I’d probably use it in the long run for some cheap sensors. I do have a few use cases in my house for smart bulbs, and don’t feel like the current quickapps for Lifx and Govee scale well, which is where I get into wanting some way to add Matter (like zigbee on the M100, thread seems to come along for the ride on a lot of matter controller hardware). I’d like to keep all of my control on the Zbox, which is sort of the source of my reluctance to add Home Assistant.

Maybe I should just take a stab at writing a new quickapp using the GoVee LAN API (unless there’s another quickapp that I’m unaware of, the one on marketplace uses the cloud API). If I could get control on a better timeline, that might get me off of this crazy kick of wanting to add Matter to my current setup.
