SmartestHouse Website Gripe / Suggestion (useability)

@Sara, is the website your area too, or can you help direct to the correct place?

First and foremost, it’s not Smartest House themselves, it’s a great place to shop, and their customer service is amazing. There is a reason I keep buying so many Zooz products. It’s a technical gripe about the website.

Why is right clicking disabled on the website?

  • It makes it more difficult to navigate, as you can’t easily open up multiple tabs.
  • Tabs are used to shop and compare multiple items.
  • Why can’t I select text on the website? I tend to recommend your site, and products, and this makes things very difficult. Like this example. It’s easier for me to copy the names of the items, I was recommending as possible solutions.
  • It honestly doesn’t stop anything, as I just use a common extension to disable this stuff anyways. So if I can still work around it, anyone with bad intent I’m quite sure can work around this? (not sure if that was thought behind it)

Maybe it’s just me, and how I use the site? It just seems like it would help and there would be less back and forth when trying to use the site.

Awesome! Yeap, just checked from my phone, works perfect. I’m sure I can’t be the only one that uses tabs as well to compare things, or while shopping.

Definitely makes the site much easier to use in my opinion.
