Zooz Device Firmware Release Notes – June 2026

During the month of June, we released firmware updates for three Zooz products. Please see the list below, along with links to the firmware files and their corresponding change logs.

We don’t recommend updating your device unless you’re missing any of the functionality listed in the changelog, and the update is absolutely necessary. Before you attempt an update on your device, please read this first:

  • Remember to unzip the file after downloading it before using it to update your device. 500 series device files will use the .otz or .hex format while 700/800 series device files will use the .gbl format.

  • Always double-check that you’re applying the correct firmware file to the right model and version of your Zooz device. Loading the wrong version to your device may deem it unusable.

  • You may need to exclude and re-include the device after the update is complete for best performance. Please consider that you may need to rebuild all of your automations and settings for the device.

Last week, I was researching an issue I was having with the ZEN58 800LR XS Low Voltage Relay on the Zooz support pages and was happy to discover firmware release v1.30 appears to have resolved the issue. (My device configuration is that where the child input could become stuck in the ON state when parameter 5 = 10 and parameter 11 = 1. The firmware update ran smoothly.)

Is the same fix upcoming for the ZEN57–which I am guessing has very similar (maybe identical?) code, as the difference appears to be only the supply voltage. My ZEN57 is configured the same way as the '58 and is exhibiting the same symptoms.

Thanks for the update!
