What device can I use to control power to two sources but disable local controls so I can use HA to control the power?

I have two wall switches next to each other. The left one controls a whole house fan in the attic. The other one controls a flood light outside. I want to replace both switches with a single device that will let me do this:

  • Two buttons (I only need 2)
  • One button will control power to fan and report status to HA (local control on).
  • One button will not control power to anything (local control off); will be used in HA to do something else (NOT turn the light power off)
  • Use HA to control power to the flood light outside

I also don’t know if the fan one is high load and I’m not sure how to check. To be safe, if there is a device like this that is for high load devices, I’d buy it even if the fan is not high load.

If I can’t find a single device that does this, then I’d get 2 devices.

I also don’t want these relay controls and what not. I want to replace the switches with something.

An attic fan likely needs a high current switch like a ZEN75. You need to know fan motor HP rating to be sure. Should be printed on a label on the fan unit.

Due to demanding requirement of blower fan motor I think you’ll be forced to two devices and not one. Why is this a concern if you already have a two gang box? For the second device you can use something like a ZEN71 and then configure it to separate the switch from the relay control )parameter 11 set to zero. I think the paddle can still be used for scene control if disabled @ param 11 but someone from zooz should chime in.
