ZAC36 for general valve open/close

I’ve got pool water supply valve that is typically closed that I have to open to add water occasionally. Can I use the ZAC36 for this purpose? I think the physical valve is compatible, I just want to make sure that I can remotely open/close the valve via scenes/automation and that it is not somehow pre-programmed just for water leaks. (I use a ZBox Hub)

Hi @cjzooz , yes you can absolutely use the Titan here and program it as you wish for remote open/close, via scenes/automations as long as your valve type is supported.

Are there any specifications related to number of lifetime cycles? Maybe more of a question about the valve it attaches to more than the motorized part.

What is the max cycle limit / how often can the Titan be triggered?

  • The Titan will last for at least 10 years if it is used once a day. The exact number is in the thousands.
