ZEN12 turning lights off even with continued motion

I have a ZEN12 installed in a room and have noticed that it always turns the light off about 30 seconds after it turns it on, even if there is continued motion in the room. The product description says “By default, the Motion Dimmer turns lights on when motion is detected and switches them off after 30 seconds of inactivity” but it is appearing to ignore activity once the light turns on. Is this the correct functioning? I would think it should require 30 seconds of no activity, not 30 seconds after activity starts. I recognize the 30 seconds can be changed, but it should still base it’s count on inactivity, not time since activating the light.

BTW, I am referring to how it functions outside of hub control (I am waiting for Hubitat to update their driver). I know I can disconnect motion detection from the output light and use the hub to control the light, once the driver is working properly. However, I would like it to also work without the hub for those times the hub may be unavailable.

Thanks!

@Sara Just curious - is this the 1.0 firmware or a newer one ? I had someone reply to me on YouTube having a similar issue. I referred him to Zooz support.

@darren.stp it’s actually going to be a patch version (1.01). Since our beta run of the ZEN12 was a small batch, the remaining units in production will be flashed with this updated firmware and it will be available for download as 1.01.
