I am powering my relay with a battery pack that supports 12v. The thing I am seeing is that after a couple seconds of powering on the battery pack, and hence the relay, it goes off. When the battery pack sees that it powers off. Anyone see that? I am wondering if the relay will wake the pack up when it senses something?
The ZEN17 requires a constant power supply that is not dependent on the draw from the device.
An issue we see frequently is the use of an impulse power supply like a charger being used with the device. An impulse power supply requires a load to activate - so a particular amount of charge on the other side. Laptops, tablets, and phones have powerful batteries that will start drawing a certain amount of power, and this activates the power supply. If a given device doesn’t draw enough power, the power supply / charger will not activate. Because the ZEN17 has special electronics inside, it can be damaged by these types of power supplies.
The ZEN17 requires constant power, regardless of how little or how much the ZEN17 is drawing. This steady power is essential to the longevity and proper operation of the device.

Thanks, I immediately switched to a 12v dc powersupply, plugged in once IO saw what was happening
