When the Z-Box requirements say " (note that 5G networks are not supported by the Z-Box Hub)" Does this mean that Z-Box will not work if my wifi network connects via a 5g data connection? or just if I’m using solely cell signal. Is there an issue with the non-static IP?
@Boomerzimm thanks for reaching out! The workaround would be to connect the hub via Ethernet to your router directly when purchasing the hub with the Ethernet cable accessory: Ethernet Adapter ZAC94 for the Z-Box Hub - The Smartest House

I believe this means 5ghz wifi doesn’t work, not the 5G cellular data backing your wifi. For local wifi you have to use the 2.4ghz band. If you don’t have that available then you’d have to use the ethernet accessory as mentioned by Sara.
Here’s the reference for that from Zooz themselves: How To Set Up Your Z-Box Hub From a Computer Browser with Local Wi-Fi Network - Z-Box Hub.
Thanks zoozer that makes much more sense.
Was late at night and my head went to my 5G cellular internet connection and not 5ghz vs 2.4ghz wifi. It didn’t add up in my mind that the type of internet connection would matter however in my experience for applications like gaming and online betting it sure does . Wasn’t sure if there was a built in ip location function that would throw the whole system off.
