Bug with latest Firmware 5.160.42 - anyway to downgrade?

A bug has been identified in Firmware version 5.160.42 - it causes the Z-Box to crash and go into a prolonged recovery (30 min+) when attempting to add certain Z-Wave devices from GE (Jasco).

Firmware version 5.130.45 allows the addition of these devices. Additional information on this bug has been posted here:

A factory reset will not downgrade to the older firmware version that was shipped with the unit. Is there anyway to downgrade?

Better yet: is there a new Firmware upgrade planned that resolved this issue? If so, when might it be expected?

I have submitted the information I found about issue to ZooZ we are all just waiting for the engineering team now …

Response from my ticket (that included the links to what you posted):

It would be an absolute disaster if they actually thought outside the box (pun intended).

I’m returning both Z-box hubs for full refund, too many unresolved issues. Besides firmware issue the geo-fence doesn’t work at all and cloud notifications have issues.

You should reach out to Bartek at ZooZ support as he wanted to have me perform tests, asked if he wanted me to do tests before returning but no response and I don’t want to miss the full refund return window.

@BillH - I did notice this little tidbit upon returning Z-Box Hub to Factory Default for sending it back for my Full Refund…

This may allow you to roll back the firmware so you can get your GE (Jasco) 40A switch up and running on older version firmware. SEE PICTURE ATTACHED
