Is my ZSE50 DEAD? Firmware update to 1.30 never completed on Hubitat

Tried updating my ZSE50 800LR to firmware 1.30 using Hubitat updater.

All went well finding device and firmware file. Firmware copied to device.

Once it hit 100% …. NOTHING.

I waited about 15 minutes then decided nothing more was happening and clicked “Done”.

I went over to the device and realized was making a “tick, tick, tick,…” sound.

I checked and it showed as “Remove/Replace” in Z-wave table.

I tried the 15 second, both buttons, reset, but no led and continued ticking.

Can’t exclude/include/reset!

What do I do now?

Have you tried removing the device from power to allow the backup battery to fully drain? Once power is fully drained, you should be able to plug the unit back in an perform the reset.

I’ve sent my device back to the mothership for testing repair replacement.

Was replaced under warranty.
