Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share some testing I’ve completed with the ZEN56 Dimmer, using it to control some RGB LED Strips on an IQ 4 Panel in Alarm.com. It worked very well, despite it not being listed as compatible. I did have some issues, but I believe all were with the IQ 4 itself rather than the ZEN56, but I definitely regard this as fully functional.
Even setting parameter 16 to expose the colors as individual endpoints worked! (Which was a surprise)
This testing was a request of someone on the Surety forum.
So if anyone out there has the IQ panel and wants to do some cool animations like light up your house red when the alarm is armed, or turn your cabinets blue when the fridge is open, it is now possible!
