So thinking a little outside of the box, I was able to get the Siren to work with the IQ 4 Alarm panel! (And there is no reason it wouldn’t work with an IQ 2 as well, and possibly other alarm.com panels that support z-wave direct association.)

Spoiler alert: Basically I’m triggering a functional z-wave device during an alarm event with the IQ/Alarm.com automations, and then associating that z-wave device with the ZSE50, leveraging its default tone, volume and light parameters. Pretty cool.
The trick is NOT all z-wave associations ACTUALLY WORK on the IQ 4… so it was a little trial and error.
