I just bought a few of these. They are the 800LR with firmware 2.3. I haven’t paired them yet, but I’m finding the LED doesn’t flash when I do the wake up (4 clicks). The reset and the inclusion clicks give me the LED flashes I’d expect. I don’t want to bother trying to use them if there is a problem. Thoughts, anyone else seeing this?

I’ll be honest I don’t think I’ve ever tried this. I’ve got maybe 15 of these? The only time I notice the LED blink is when they open or close (now). Since it blinks when you reset it / inclusion, I don’t think it gives any indication that it’s not working. I’d move forward with pairing. I think you’ll find it operates as expected.

In case anyone else reads this, the wake-up on these newer sensors with firmware 2.3 doesn’t work. The reset and pair works fine, but the wake-up doesn’t show an LED flash and doesn’t seem to do anything. I had to trigger the sensors a few times after it joined to get them to finish joining.
I was wondering if it was firmware related. Thanks for letting us know the final outcome.
Interesting. I have one that I just upgraded to 2.3, so this made me curious. Wake is working. Actually on 2.2 the led would light up once for about 1-2 seconds, now with 2.3, the led seems to light up once but for less duration - maybe 500ms. But it is waking. Wonder if something different with units shipped with 2.3 already installed ?
But usually I only use wake when I’m too impatient for a configuration parameter to get applied. I normally don’t have a need for it so I didn’t pay attention. Thanks for the info!
